Common concerns we can address:
• Nipple or breast pain, during or in-between feeds
• Latch mechanics and positioning
• Suspected tongue- or lip- ties, oral functional assessments and support through the release process as necessary
• How to tell if baby is actively drinking from the breast
• How to know if baby is getting enough milk
• Efficiency of feeds (very frequent feeds, whether long or short)
• Fussiness or colic-like behaviours ( biting, pulling off, back-arching, etc.)
• Not enough breastmilk
• Engorgement, milk blebs/blisters, blocked ducts, mastitis and other infections
• Feeding preemies, multiples, or tandem feeding
