The ovaries, adrenal glands, and adipose tissue all create oestrogen. It is primarily viewed as a female hormone because it causes the physical changes that women go through during puberty, including breast growth, menstrual cycle regulation, womb lining maturation, and effects on mood and libido. Oestrogen has effects on both sexes; it raises levels of good cholesterol, encourages the development of bones, and enhances the collagen in your skin.
What exactly is seed cycling?
- The natural balance of the two primary female reproductive hormones is referred to as seed cycling. Using the nutrients found in seeds, based on the two phases of your cycle.
- By increasing progesterone in the second phase of your cycle and oestrogen in the first phase, seed cycling can help control irregular cycles, reduce the symptoms of PCOS, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and PMS, as well as improve fertility.
Hormone Cycles.
Follicular Phase – Day 1-14 On the first day of menstruation, this phase starts. Low levels of oestrogen and progesterone are present, with oestrogen steadily rising in anticipation of ovulation, which normally occurs on day 14. This period is dominated by oestrogen.
Luteal Phase – Day 15-28 Following ovulation, this phase starts. Oestrogen levels fall right away before gradually rising, along with progesterone, in anticipation of pregnancy. Both hormone levels fall if implantation does not happen, the uterine lining sheds, and menstruation starts. In this stage, progesterone dominates.
